Meet Info for Somerset
The Pointer Club is pleased to announce their Field Trial Training Day On SUNDAY 25th Feb 2018 for those interested in Field Trialling and Working, Pointers and Setters.
The day begins on the Mendips in Somerset at 8.30 am for 9.00am
Our training program is primarily for POINTER CLUB Members. Although preference will be given to Members, new members will be welcome and will be taken on a first come first served basis. We have a superb site on the Mendips by courtesy of Holts Farms Ltd for the use of their Hunting Lodge and land.
Our Trainers will be: A mixture of Field Trial judges and experienced Field Trial competitors.
The day will consist of talks, demonstrations and discussions together with practical help, advice and tips on handling your dog. Lunch will be provided at the Centre: Organic Holts Farm Beef Stew served with Chunky Homemade Bread (or vegetarian option) Tea and Coffee, Orange Juice. Served in the Hunt Lodge around the Log Burner
Details of the meet for the day including Program, Directions, Post Code and Grid Ref will be forwarded to each member on payment of £32 (including lunch and beverages)
Places will be limited to 30 and will be on first come first served (One handler per dog). There may be vacancies for members without dogs. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and boots, please bring a training line and water for your dog.
